South Portland Housing Authority (SPHA) owns and/or manages over 700 units of housing scattered throughout the City of South Portland, Maine and 60 units located in Scarborough, Maine. These units are made up of different housing programs/projects which are administered by SPHA and listed in the chart below.

SPHA has the following preferences in addition to those listed above: Residency (live or work in South Portland); Veterans; Victims of a federally declared natural disaster. 

Jocelyn Place also has the following additional preferences: Residency (live or work in Scarborough); Applicants on a Section 8 or Public Housing Waiting List.

Project-Based Vouchers for Betsy Ross House, Thornton Heights Commons and Jocelyn Place have a preference for In-Place Residents.
